FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Are the cards new or used?

It all depends how you class those terms. Most of the cards listed here are new in the sense that they were never played and were kept in archive sleeves in proper storage conditions. The single cards were obviously unpacked from their booster/decks wrapping. If any of the cards/games are still shrink wrapped, I will state so in their description. The same goes if there is any damage.
  • Is the shop up to date?

I try to keep the information as up to date as possible, but please bear in mind that I have a full time occupation, family, dog, fish and visiting aliens, so it might happen that the item you are after is no longer there. In such case, you will be fully refunded.
  • What are the postage and packaging costs?

Generally the cost of the packaging is usually around 10p per package. I’m not planning to get rich ripping you off on a cost of a bubble wrap. The postage will always be charged accordingly to whatever the Royal Mail or any other courier of your choice decides to take from me. There will be exceptions from that rule, where I will cover the cost of postage and insurance on the rarest of sets, but please see individual item descriptions.
  • What type of payments do you accept?

I prefer payment through PayPal mainly because it’s convenient and safe both for me and for you. If you’d like to pay me via bank transfer, please contact me before purchasing and I’ll provide you with all the necessary details. Personal cheques are an option, but please bear in mind, they will delay things and I cannot guarantee the availability of the cards whilst I’m waiting for the cheque to clear.
  • Where do you post to?

I will post to anywhere on planet Earth. That being said, if you are located outside of United Kingdom, please contact me first for an up to date postage rates.
  • What courier do you use?

I tend to use Royal Mail. I generally post things 2nd class to save you on postage costs. However, please email me if you’d like me to use any other Royal Mail service or if you prefer to use other courier. Please note that some of the rarest sets will only be send via recorded delivery due to their value. It will, of course, be stated in their description.
  • How quickly can I expect my delivery?

I will dispatch your purchase within 3 working days of the funds clearing (please see the accepted payments section). After that, it will depend on the courier and service selected, though the majority of the cards I’ve traded in the past have arrived safely within a week.
  • Do you accept returns?

I do, provided you have a very good reason and are willing to cover the cost of posting. Please remember, I’m not running a shop (even though it says so at the top), this is my private collection and sorting returns eats up a lot of valuable time, both mine and yours.
